Directed Energy Weapons:

A directed-energy weapon is a ranged weapon that damages it’s target with highly focused energy, including laser, microwaves and and particle beams. Potential applications of this technology include weapons that target personnel, missiles, vehicles and optical devices.

They researched, designed, developed, and captured electromagnetic energy and elevated its power to create innovative Directed Energy solutions. They have developed laser weapon systems, radio frequency and other directed energy technologies for air, ground and sea platforms to provide an affordable countermeasure alternative. They have addressed critical needs such as accuracy, mobility, size, weight and power (SWaP), cooling, and minimal collateral damage.

Directed Energy also enables experimentation, prototyping and exploration of materiel and non-materiel solutions that align with force capabilities and strategies.
